I'm amazed with myself. I managed to write my super awesome music script in about an hour when I was imagining it taking days. It is cool, just click on doodettes. There's still one little thing left for me to do, and that's to make the DS numbers be an image instead of just text. My old doodviews script did that somehow so it's just a matter of figuring out what I did before and copying it. I haven't actually put any info in the Doodsongs aside from titles just to leave myself a template. There is some temp stuff for one song just to make sure everything was working also.

I imagine I'll update all of that tomorrow when I'm really bored as it's probably going to take a few hours. Grrr...

One more annoying thing. This stupid server keeps putting the time in some silly american time zone where I'm not! Grr!!!

Why hello there Doodfans. Welcome to the shiny new drdood.net. As the title says, it's like drdood.com - only better and with more explosions. I have no clue how this site will work, as I've just gone and done a straight copy of drdood.com as I have forgotten all the php I learnt and with my site's heavy reliance on php and other things like sql servers, that I've also lost the ability to use, means this could be interesting.

So, I bet everyone is asking "What happened to drdood.com? Why are you now drdood.net". Well, I shall explain. My ownership of drdood.com runs out in August and I was thinking now that I'd like to change hosts because the host I was on wasn't really catering to my needs. It was a very developer-based host so they had all cool developery stuff that other hosts don't have. But I never used any of the developery stuff so I decided I should get a new host that will give me what I want, webspace! So now I have 5gig of space compared to the 50meg I had before. Quite an upgrade me thinks. And the reason I'm on drdood.net is because my old host doesn't seem to want to redirect drdood.com to here, so I'm just going to let it expire and buy it on my new host come August.

With all my extra delicious webspace, I plan on uploading all of my awesome music. The Dr Dood & The Doodettes myspace only lets you have 4 songs on it, and I currently have 17 The Dr Dood & The Doodettes mp3s. I still plan on updating the myspace with the newest songs, but I think a full Doodsong archive along with Doodish commentary on everything would be cool. It also lets me give the people vocal-less versions as well, so they can have some karaokelicious fun.
